Brand websites
A website that makes people assume you are more established than you are.
Design that carries a price tag
There is a real and measurable gap between a business that looks careful and one that looks improvised, and customers price accordingly. If you are trying to charge more than the person down the road, the site has to make that legible before anyone reads a word.
Typography does most of the work
Most of what reads as expensive is restraint — type that is set properly, generous space, a small palette, and photography that is allowed to breathe. Nearly everything that reads as cheap is the opposite: too many fonts, too many colours, and stock imagery.
Fast, still
Considered does not mean slow. These are built as static sites, so they load in well under a second even when they are image-heavy. A beautiful site that takes six seconds on a phone is not a beautiful site.
Usually right for: Breweries, boutiques, restaurants, studios, and companies whose pricing depends on being taken seriously.
